There were no chants of "Stupid Boy!" around Duthie Park on Saturday as Portcullis resoundingly didn't panic and recorded their sixth win of their season. Recent recruit James Pike, opening the bowling, took his first wickets for the team as Huntly Highlanders were held to a modest score which was chased down with what turned out to be relative ease. read more

Strathmore & Perthshire Cricket Union Division 2 Champions???
This weekend see's the final game of the season for the first XI as they travel away to an Arbroath XI who could be strengthened given the end of the SNCL campaign.

The team travelling to Arbroath are...
Blair Thomson (C), Kyle Humphrys, Chandra Mouli, Rahul Narula (VC), Tariq Butt, Richard Brown, Marc Jones, Vai Bode, Ajay Induchudan, Chetan Aggarwal, Jason Stark

Unfortunately for FP’s 2nd XI, the outside chance for promotion to Grade 2 had more or less gone. But the last game of the season was against 4th place Ellon 2nd XI, so there was more than just pride to play for, there was 3rd top place to play for. All this in a season [...]

Jerry Moir signed off his FPs career in fitting style, rolling back the years to inspire FPs to an amazing victory with 1 ball left of the season as Banchory lost their last 6 wickets for only 10 runs to lose by 3 runs in a game that seemed impossible for them to lose. Tabrez [...]

Portcullis, led by a magnificent batting performance by Ranjan Sahoo (87*), managed a draw in a high scoring game at Sheddocksley against a strong Mannofield side.Captain Nair won the toss and elected to field. Nair and Alan Dobey opened the bowling for Portcullis with Nair taking the first wicket of M.Zanre for 2. The opening spell was tight and was well supported by Nitin Shetty, the first change bowler, who replaced Nair. Runs was hard to come by and Mannofield were 38 for 1 in first 20 overs. read more
