Three Counties Twenty20 Cup

With the draw for once favouring them with home advantage, and also winning the toss to bat first in uncertain light, the Grades Select team were at last able to overcome their hoodoo team Huntly to move into the third round of this season's Three Counties Twenty20 Cup, following Wednesday evening's game at the Links.
Top scorer for the Grades was J. Dickenson, Andy Win chipping in with 23, and Shaffiq adding a vital 24 at the death.  For Huntly Forsyth took three wickets and Ali and Morrison two each.
Chasing a score of 160 to win, Huntly lost wickets steadily, no batsman getting past 20; and the game ending in the seventeenth over, when the Huntly number 11 was forced to reture hurt.  For the Grades the wickets were shared out between skipper Malik, Chris Forbes of Anchorians, and Jerry Moir.
