Clubs are reminded that ordinarily no player may play for more than one club in a season, unless:

(a)     s/he elects (with the consent of her/his existing club, and with the Association Secretary having previously been notified) to play two trial games for, and thereafter transfer to, a club in a higher grade – the grade of a club is determined for this purpose by that in which its first eleven plays, irrespective of the team for which the triallist may have played for her/his previous club;

(b)     s/he has not played more than six games for her/his previous club; and both clubs concerned produce to the Management Committee grounds acceptable to it.

In either case, players must be financially clear with their previous club, have that club’s consent, and the Secretary must have been informed of the arrangement before play commences.  Ad hoc borrowing of players without the consent of their previous club, and the Secretary being informed, is not allowed; and if proved could result in the team concerned being deemed to have lost, and being awarded zero points, for any game concerned.
