Cults’ first victory over Bon Accord this season now makes them odds-on favourites to take the Grade 1 title for a further season; while next Saturday’s match between Kintore and Bon Accord, short of a heavy defeat of Cults by Banchory, looks as if it will now be a tussle for the runners up spot.

At the foot of the Grade 1 table meanwhile, with Inverurie, 2^nd Cults and Caledonian all losing, Mannofield look to have assured their league 1 status for a further season.

Who replaces them has still to be determined, with both St Ronald and Grammar FPs dropping points, while Gordonians comfortably beat Academy to push the Duthie Park side closer to relegation, and draws for Kemnay and Artisans threw them a lifeline in the battle to stay up.
