Following last weekend's teatime washout, which led to most games being void, a renewed attempt will be made to get the Cinnamon Grades fully under way at the weekend.
The two sides in
Grade 1 whose perseverance in contiuing play last Saturday was rewarded by a draw, Stonehaven and St Ronald, both face tough games, away to Cults and Kintore respectively; while promoted Gordonians open their Grade 1 home campaign at Countesswells against Bon Accord, whom they are also drawn to play in the Small Clubs Cup later in the month. Games between Mannofield & Ellon, and Inverurie & Banchory, complete the days programme in the top flight.
In
Grade 2 Queens Cross, for whom Gavin Jamieson's century last weekend turned out to be of no avail at Methlick, take on Crathie at Harlaw; while Artisans, for whom Steve Dicke was another to be deprived on the brink of a 3-figure score when play had to be abandoned against 2nd Banchory, travel to meet Grammar FPs on the next-door pitch at Rubislaw.
Kemnay and Academy get an early chance to renew acquaintance in
Grade 3, where promoted 2nd Gordonians play Crescent; while in
Grade 4 Stoneywood-Dyce
