A busy weekend is in prospect for the leading sides in the Cinnamon Grades, with the top two divisions involved in cup action on Sunday as well as the normal full league programme on Saturday.

The league programme in Grade 1 sees leaders Bon Accord hoping to maintain their 100 per cent record at home to Stonehaven, while of the chasing pack Cults travel to Banchory, Inverurie have a home tie against ninth-placed  Gordonians, and Kintore take on Mannofield.

At the top of Grade 2, leaders Grammar FPs face a tricky away game at second-placed Methlick, while Queens Cross play Caledonian; and in the lower reaches of the table Artisans take on 2nd Kintore at the Duthie Park, with both teams yet to record a win this season.

Anchorians take on Turriff, also at the Duthie Park, at the top of Grade 3; while at Grade 4 level 2nd Queens Cross face Portcullis, and 2nd St Ronald play 2nd Mannofield in the semi-finals of the Johnston Cup.

Sundays cup games see Mannofield travel to Ellon, while Cults face a reverse of Saturday’s league game at home to Banchory, and Bon Accord will hope to remain on course for a league-cup double at home to St Ronald.  Grammar FP’s Bon Accord Cup game is switched to Fraserburgh, while Queens Cross play Methlick at Lairds in a repeat of last year’s Bon Accord final, with the country team looking to avenge their narrow defeat on that occasion.
