Schools, Huntly. Delegates from Primary Schools, Cricket Clubs and young players from the Caledonian Academy mixed well as they enjoyed a day of skill and technique teaching and coaching methods delivered by Cricket Scotland in partnership with Active Schools Aberdeenshire. The day ended with a Kwik Cricket game course as participants organised, scored, umpired and played in a game of Kwik Cricket.
Cricket Scotland’s Grampian Community Development Manager Kevin Davies said. ‘It was good to see a wide range of volunteers coming forward from several areas of the community. Training courses such as the ICC Intro are vital for the development of cricket in our region, with the Kwik Cricket game course added on we now have more help available to run our school and club Kwik Cricket competitions.
