Just been reading the report of this game on the Cults site. Extraordinary stuff, whodda thunk that there would have been a constant stream of pish coming from the “Stonies”?

During a recent cup game between our team and <name removed>'s Strathie…….sorry Grade 2 side I was out umpiring for a stint, and during a post-wicket confab they set up a competition between the Leg-Side and Off-Side to see who could dribble the most pish…..sorry, I mean offer the most encouragement. I was standing at square leg with my fingers in my ears to gain some respite, I kid you not. Painful stuff, it really was. Endless stream. Where do they get it from? At least us Artos only give you good-old fashioned abuse Wink

PS…Speaking of Cults Grade 2 reports, still waiting for the one from our game at Allan Park – what’s the score Gilly? Only give reports when you win??? Razz

Art, the reports are done by person or persons unknown and posted on the site by the honourable webmeister Z. If you scroll up n down you will notice our defeats by Gordonians and Mannofield are documented so its not just a case of "when we win". It all depends on who remembers to collect the book from the Sportsmans and who is in a fit state to remember events during the match. My own recollections are that we were beaten by the better side on the day and most of our T was gobbled up by alan and 7 bellies ronnie!!! and yes, you are quite right about the good old fashioned abuse you lot hand out, at least i understand what is being said and i think i can honestly say the matches we have together have been played in a good spirit with a good few laughs................ buddy
