Or whatever the collective name for the B*****s

We thought we did pretty well with 7 V Methlick the other week but see page 5 of the Times today .A Yorkshire team managed a full set of 10 .

We fancy a tour game against them but their batters all were caught so they can actually put bat to ball and that puts them at an advantage over our lot

We have stats in the grades re best this and highest that . Should we also keep "worst" stats ?
Any offers for the lowest team total in the grades? anyone beat 7 quack quacks this year?

I was involved in a memorable Tues night defeat a few years back by IATP.
Top scorer was BYE in our 7 all out score.
At least we were in the pub by 7pm.

Ironically enough, according to Wikipedia, one of the collective nouns for a herd of ducks is a team.

1969 at Gordonstoun

Aberdeen Academy - 2 all out, one run off the bat, one wide.
Gordonstoun - 6 for no wicket off the first ball.

Two bleeding hours in the bus for that, small consolation that Mousey (real name withheld as he is still playing) had a well worn copy of PARADE at the back of the bus. The abiding memory is the food fight in the hall after the match when we stuffed the toffs, absolute quality cream buns.

I played in a U15 game for Ellon Gordon CC against Huntly (U21s by the look of them) many years ago where we were bowled out for 1 run. 10 ducks 1 naught not out (didn't face a ball) and 1 no ball (we were lucky to get that).

It took them 2.4 overs to make the required 2. We got a write up in the P&J and everything.

That was long way to go for 15 minutes of cricket so we mixed the teams up and had another game.

In any case I think you would be going well to beat that (well there's only one possible score that's worse).

Anyone else remember that one.

I remember that game, Neil thingymajiggy possibly Nicol and Chris somebody or another (later played for Aberdeenshire) ripped us apart that evening. In our defence (which on the evening was obviously lacking) we were a very young team!

But yes, can confirm we were all out for that meagre total! I think Simon Copping scored the single and Chris ?? bowled the no ball with an over step.
