Winning the toss, and electing to bat second, probably cost Stoneywood-Dyce victory as in rapidly fading light they lost to the Grades Select by 7 runs in last night's final of the Malik City of Aberdeen Twenty20 Cup played at Peoples Park.
For his match-winning opening 4 over spell which conceded only 8 runs, FPs Jeremy Moir was adjudged by the umpires to be the Khyber Pass Man of the Match.
Given the difficulty of finding a suitable neutral ground, 2nd Methlick have agreed to travel to Turriff for this Saturday's final of the Johnston Cup; with 2nd Grammar FPs Grade 3 game v Caledonian taking place at Links 5.
