A busy weekend of cricket for some clubs is in prospect with the semi-finals of the Bon Accord and Reid Cups taking place on Sunday, as well as a full programme of league games on Saturday.

In the last four of the Bon Accord Cup, Artisans travel to play Methlick at Lairds, while Queens Cross have a home tie against Gordonians.  The Reid Cup semis see Crescent pitted against 2^nd Methlick at the Links, while 2^nd Ellon entertain a Turriff side still entertaining hopes of a Grade 3 league and cup double.  Form suggests a Crescent-Turriff final for this one.

Saturday’s league programme meanwhile is unlikely to bring any relief for either Caledonian or 2^nd Cults, who are at home to Kintore and Stonehaven respectively; while Bon Accord should also remain in the title race with home advantage against Ellon.

At the top of Grade 2 St Ronald take on Artisans, while Grammar entertain Fraserburgh, and Gordonians are at home to Crathie, in a match which they really need to win to remain in promotion contention.  At the foot meanwhile Kemnay travel to play Methlick at Lairds.

With home advantage, Turriff and 2^nd Kintore will hope to reinforce their promotion hopes from Grade 3, while 2^nd Banchory – leaders for much of the earlier part of the season, will need to show a recovery of form against a Stoneywood-Dyce side at the Duthie Park.  2^nd Stonehaven take on 2^nd Queens Cross at the top of Grade 4, while Portcullis travel to face 2^nd Dunecht
