Grades Results 9th/10th August 2008
For a second successive year August monsoons look set to disrupt the tail end of the Grades season.
As well as washing out Sunday's Reid Cup Final, the heavy storms of Saturday morning laid waste to that afternoon's league programme, with only the Grade 1 game at Kellands Park between Inverurie and 2nd Cults being completed, the Allan Park side scoring an important victory in their quest to retain their Grade 1 status.
Elsewhere the key games in leagues 2 to 4 all fell victim to the weather, and will either require to be re-played or are void, depending on whether the sides played in the reverse fixture on June 14th.
In Grade 4 2nd Dunecht's fifth scratching means that their results will now be removed from the league table, and that they will be required to apply for re-election, putting 2nd Gordonians (the only team they beat) ahead of 2nd Queens Cross in the race for the second promotion spot to Grade 3
