Preview of Remaining Games

Although the regular league and knockout cup season has now finished there are a number of outstanding games to be played off this weekend, including the semi-finals and finals of the 2008 Turriff Cup on Saturday at the Duthie Park.  Meantime in Grade 3 Banchory play Turriff to decide who will be promoted to Grade 2 with 2nd Kintore, while at the foot of the same league Stoneywood-Dyce play 2nd Grammar FPs in a relegation decider.

Sunday also features the annual gala day at Lairds Cricket Ground, home of Methlick CC, with second and third-placed Grade 1 teams Bon Accord and Kintore playing their postponed Grade 1 game at the Links; and Artisans scheduled to play their outstanding fixture against Crathie.

Of other outstanding games, 2nd Methlick v Dunecht is scheduled for Saturday September 6th, while Huntly Highlanders play 2nd St.Ronald in Grade 4 on Sunday September 7th, before the curtain finally comes down on the competitive season.

TURRIFF CUP SEMI-FINALS AND FINAL 2008.
Cults Mo&Co v Kintore MTM (DP1), Huntly Highlanders v AAM Mannofield (DP2) – 12 noon, followed by final on DP1 at 3.00pm

GRADE 3
2nd Banchory v Turriff (reserve date Sunday 31st),  Stoneywood-Dyce v 2nd Grammar FPs.

GRADE 4
2nd Queens Cross v Portcullis (or Sunday depending on ground availability).

OTHER GAME
Up Front Gordonians v 2nd Gordonians (DP3)

SUNDAY

GRADE 1
Culter Curry Bon Accord v Kintore MTM – I Sutherland (Links 4) – 12 noon.

GRADE 2
Artisans v Crathie.
