Cults just beat the gathering clouds as a hard-hitting innings of 32 from opener and man of the match Vignesh saw Cults B overturn their A Seven to claim the Grade season's first trophy in the final of the Plate Competition in the Thistle Sports Sevens, played at the Duthie Park last night.

 

In their semi-final Cults B were dismissed for just 54, but fought back to edge out previous holders Stonehaven by the narrowest of possible margins, while Cults A fairly comfortably defeated Grammar FPs.
