Despite a magnificent 157 from Michael Leask the home side, Stoneywood-Dyce, failed to secure victory in this pre-season friendly.  Aberdeen Grades Select 264-6 (Vijay 62, B. Veldsman 48 not out, Kapil 44; J. Walters 3-29). Stoneywood-Dyce XI 239 (M. Leask 157; T. Malik 3-34, S. Whyte 2-44). Aberdeen Grades Select won by 25 runs.
