A group photo from the Junior Competition held at Banchory

The players from Aberdeenshire, Banchory and Stoneywood-Dyce in a group photo at the Banchory CC junior 6-a-sides. Format was 6-a-side, 10 overs per innings, bowlers restricted to three overs max. The teams initially played in a round-robin with Aberdeenshire defeating SD in game one, Banchory beating Aberdeenshire in game two, SD winning against Banchory in game three leading to Callum Wilson's accounting skills sorting out countback to arrive at a play-off match in which SD again triumphed over Banchory.
Great fun and a huge well done to the Banchory club for the invitation, the use of their facilities, their BBQ skills and any monies they earned from their wee raffle were well deserved. Let's look to run more of these three-cornered Sunday events in season 2012.
